He has since disappeared.Police confirmed that they have been unable to locate the suspect.“I want them to find him and charge him, ” the mother told Kaieteur News yesterday. “I want them to question him as to why he ran away.”The woman explained that the brother, who was frequently in trouble with the police, had lived at the back of her home.According to reports, the girl alleged that she was going to use an outdoor bathroom near her uncle’s home when the man attacked and raped her.The incident allegedly occurred about two weeks ago, but the girl told her mother that she did not immediately inform anyone because the man had threatened to kill her.However, the victim’s ordeal came to light last week, when three schoolboys were accused of sexually assaulting her. The incident allegedly occurred at the school the girl attends.Police said that the boys, who are reportedly younger than the alleged victim, were questioned and released.After the incident, the schoolgirl underwent the medical examination, which showed that she was sexually active. According to the mother, a doctor stated that the examination indicated that someone older was involved.After being questioned by a teacher, the girl finally identified her uncle as the culprit.He was arrested, taken to a city police station, and then subsequently transferred to another station, where a rank had him released.The victim’s mother said that he then turned up at her home, packed his belongings and left, Wholesale Authentic NFL Jerseys, but not before hurling threats at the family.

Public-spirited civilians are continuing to come to the aid of Russell Cornelius, the seaman who lost his legs in a mishap last month.On Sunday, members from the Success Dominoes Club traveled to Cornelius’s Grove, East Bank Demerara home, to present him with a wheelchair and other items.The group members said that they were moved to make the donation after reading about the seaman’s plight.They said that they are concerned that Cornelius has been rendered unable to provide for his four children.The seaman’s relatives allege that officials from Noble House Seafoods Limited, where Cornelius was employed, have indicated that they will not compensate Cornelius for his injuries.Last week, fishermen from Pritipaul Singh Investments gave Cornelius $133, 000, which they had pooled together from their own earnings. Popular ‘Back Circle’ footballer, Dexter Griffith, was gunned down around 20.00 hrs yesterday near his East Ruimveldt home, becoming the most recent victim of a rash of execution-style killings that have hit the community.Dexter GriffithGriffith, 36, was shot at least nine times, allegedly by two gunmen who were reportedly seen in the area earlier in the day.Kaieteur News understands that Griffith was hanging out with friends near an alleyway when the gunmen shot him at close range, sending his body tumbling into a drain. He died almost immediately.His mother, Lavern Griffith, said that she was in her Lot 465 Back Circle yard, East Ruimveldt, Jerseys NFL Wholesale, when she heard a volley of gunshots. A delegation from the United States of America has arrived in Guyana to participate in the two-day Second Meeting of the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI) Commission, which begins today.  Headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Caribbean and Central America, Julissa Reynoso, the U.S. delegation comprises 14 members, including representatives from the State Department’s Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, Discount Nike Air Force One Shoes, the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, and other inter-agency partners including USAID, the Department of Defense’s Southern Command and the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security.The CBSI Commission Meeting, hosted by the Guyana Government, will convene CBSI partners to discuss preparations for the Second Caribbean-United States Security Cooperation Dialogue, scheduled for November 10, in Nassau, Bahamas.Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Caribbean and Central America, Julissa ReynosoDuring the two day meeting the CBSI partnership will focus on addressing social, law enforcement and security challenges from international crime through increased maritime interdiction capacity; law enforcement training and equipment; countering money laundering and other financial crimes; and youth development through training and job skills development.The First Meeting of the CBSI Commission was held last year November in Kingston, Jamaica.  The CBSI Commission meetings are designed to coordinate local, national, and regional security and crime prevention activities and policies.These technical working groups ensure effective and efficient implementation of programmes, identify future programme and policy needs and inform policymakers.CBSI fulfills the commitment to deepen regional security cooperation that President Barack Obama made at the Fifth Summit of the Americas, held in Port of Spain, Trinidad, in April 2009.By working together through the CBSI to substantially reduce illicit trafficking, increase public safety and security and promote social justice, participating nations will increase citizen safety throughout the Caribbean.
